My Universal Pictures Work 2016 – Moscow, Venice, Meeting Tom Ford & More

2016 was quite a whirlwind of a year. I spent a lot of time in London working with Universal Pictures doing hair, make up & grooming on celebrities for red carpet events like film premieres, press junkets, touring with a number of films for the international premieres.

I went to Moscow with Warcraft, looking after Duncan Jones (David Bowies son). It was exciting working in Venice for the film Festival where I looked after Aaron Taylor Johnson for Nocturnal Animals, I got to meet Tom Ford such a legend.

Aaron has been nominated for a BAFTA this year so I ve been asked to look after him and his wife Sam again for the BAFTAs later this month.

I was in Berlin and London with Fifty Shades of Grey looking after the Writer El James. The second film is out this year, Fifty Shades Darker and I been asked to go on the tour again. This Monday I am being flown to Hamburg, then to Madrid and then back to London just in time for Valentines. Hopefully I will get to go to one of the premieres, fingers crossed 🙂

My Continued Education – Mastered Hair Accelerator Course

I have been accepted onto an 8 month Mastered Hair Accelerator course run by iconic industry experts and on top of that I got chosen from my class to meet with Gary Gill, an iconic fashion hair stylist. We filmed 2hrs, his knowledge and experience was so helpful, we talking about my USP ( unique selling point). It really made me think about my career and my options. It was very inspiring.

It;s wonderful to come back to Dublin and the salon to see all my clients being looked after by my talented staff, and to catch up with everyone, it keeps me grounded.

I’ve been house hunting again, this time with my boyfriend Brendan Sheehan who is moving over full time, I m very excited and cant wait to explore London with him, its such a great city and its even better when you have someone to share it with.
