After 6 years away Gemma Kilbane has returned to Whetstone Aveda Concept Salon, Dublin 2. Gemma has a tremendous amount of experience, prestige & flair. Gemma Kilbane is an award winning hair stylist with over 19 years experience in the industry.

Having trained with Peter Mark, she went on to travel the world, all the time honing her hairdressing skills with Celebrity Cruise lines.  On returning to Ireland Gemma joined Whetstone Aveda Concept Salon and worked her way up the ranks to Art Director for 6 years.

In 2009 Gemma joined Brown Sugar as Style Director,  gaining vast experience and knowledge.  Much to our delight she rejoined The Whetstone team in March 2015 as Senior Art Director.

Gemma is renowned in the industry for her precision cutting and her expertise and knowledge in relation to all aspects of colour.  She also travels around Ireland and abroad, as bridal hair is another speciality.
In 2009 Gemma won the much coveted Aveda Pure Image Award held in London.  Other highlights include working backstage for designer Valentino on his last couture collection for Fashion Rocks in Londons Royal Albert Hall.
